The Bay Area Progressives' Green Team is a local Issue Organizing Team (IOT) that is dedicated to strengthening the grassroots movement, advocating for policies that benefit our environment.  The Green Team holds meetings every month to strategize and plan local actions, furthering awareness and support for a greener public policy.  It is now an official member of the Oakland Climate Action Coalition which is a "cross-sector coalition of community-based organizations, environmental experts and advocates, labor unions, and green businesses working for an equitable and just Oakland Energy and Climate Action Plan for the city's most disadvantaged populations."   The Green Team has also been involved in building up grassroots awareness to defeat PG & E's Prop. 16 'Powergrab"  To get involved please contact Jonathan Rousell at Jrousell@gmail.com.
